for this assignment, we were asked to develop an exhibition space that would be a part of a larger indoor exhibition. our particular exhibition space was to be for an unknown company with a variety of different products that they wished to display. these four objects, known as widgets, were to be put on display in the exhibition space, one of which being the biggie widget which was to be the main attraction. the exhibition space also needed to contain a large presentation space, offices and a hospitality area for potential investors. in my design, i decided to create a physical connection of similar or related spaces through single continuous surfaces. the program were broken up into three continuous bands formed of bending metal which folds to create wall, floor, and roof elements as they enclose the program, forming a singular design language among the different programmatic elements.
